After finishing a B.A. in social work and Humanities studies, I realized that my main interest is in early Buddhism literature and the surrounding religious sphere. I am currently doing my M.A. in religious studies focusing on the sutras of the Pāḷi canon.

I am a musician and a PhD student in the Asian Studies department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In my research I focus on South Indian musical traditions, ranging between classical Carnatic music, folk traditions, and contemporary popular music.
