I am interested in the migration and transformation processes of narrative traditions in religious and literary contexts within the south-Asian cultural sphere. My areas of expertise are Vedic literature, Sanskrit Puranic literature, and Tamil premodern literature. I did my BA in Cognitive Science and Amirim Program at the Hebrew University; MA in Comparative Religion at the Hebrew University; PhD in Comparative Religion at the Hebrew University. My PhD dissertation examines the ancient story of Urvaśī and Purūravas in a variety of manifestations in Sanskrit and Tamil. In the NEEM framework, I study the Ñāṇavaciṭṭam, a 16th-century Tamil version of the Laghu-Yogavāsiṣṭha.
