Indian philosophy. Advaita Vedānta. Sanskrit
The Hebrew University

My research, in general, focuses on the history of Sanskrit philosophy, with a special emphasis on Brahmanical philosophical traditions in classical India, including Sāṃkhya, Yoga, Advaita-Vedānta, Nyāya and Mīmāṃsā . I study the concept of mind in light of Indian soteriology and the different ways of theorizing such mental phenomena as perception, cognitive states and thought-processes as potential vehicles for liberating transcendence.

Currently, as a postdoctoral research fellow in the NEEM project, I study the Parimala, composed by Appaya Dīkṣita, the South Indian polymath from the 16th century.

I have an MA in East Asian Studies from Tel-Aviv University and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of New Mexico.
